Window Replacement — Bradenton
Bradenton is rich in Florida history, our museums and preserves make for perfect family outings. For that matter, so do the RiverWalk and the Village of the Arts — there’s just something about strolling through the working artists’ community that inspires, isn’t there? We proudly maintain our historical buildings in Bradenton. Proper home maintenance creates a sense of pride too. Window replacement is on the high end of home maintenance costs, but it’s an investment you’ll not regret.
There are many reasons that homeowners choose to replace their windows. Living in Bradenton, we’re not immune to the possibility of a hurricane blowing our way. Many homeowners absorb the cost of window replacement to upgrade to hurricane resistant windows.
Impact resistant windows provide other benefits for your family as well.
- Protection against a break-in
- Protection against damaging UV rays
- Energy-efficiency
- Noise reduction
- Lower home insurance premiums (Check with your agent to see if you qualify.)
Reece replacement windows
We manufacture and install our replacement windows to ensure complete customer satisfaction. All of our windows are impact resistant meaning not only will you have beautiful, new windows, but you have measurably increased your home’s structural integrity.
Living in Florida, that’s important. Our windows are constructed of two (or more) sheets of tempered glass that adhere to either side of a sheet of high-tech polymer. Windows are tested to ensure they comply with the FBCs (Florida Building Code) stringent standards to classify them as hurricane resistant. Testing includes both large and small missile tests. Storm tossed debris puts your windows at risk of failing. Once the windows fail, it leaves your home at the mercy of the storm.
To be rated as hurricane resistant, a 6 foot, 9 pound 2×4 strikes the window end on after being fired from a cannon. The window may crack but must not fly apart. Passing this test sends it on to the small missile test. Steel ball bearings (or gravel of like size and weight) simultaneously strike the window at full force. Passing the debris tests sends the unit on for tests likened to the wind speeds and storm-driven rain that a hurricane contains. The rating received directly relates to how well the window unit withstood testing.
Why choose Reece
Reece Builders / Windows, Inc. has been around for nearly fifty years. Established by Michael Reece, Sr. in 1972, his goal was to provide well-constructed windows that last a lifetime at an affordable cost. All while providing excellent customer service that people just can’t help raving about.
Randy Reece runs the business now, but he hasn’t changed much in the operations department. Reece stays on top of changing technology and installation techniques which we pass on to our employees in manufacturing and installation. All staff is in-house and learn our installation methods to ensure every job is completed to meet our high standards. By the way, if you call us on the phone or reach out via e-mail, you talk directly to us rather than a third party agency.
We’ve discovered that employees who understand the important role they play in Reece’s success in the industry vests them in the company. They’re always willing to go that extra mile to provide our customers with an exceptional experience from start to finish. There’s something to be said for service with a smile. And, we don’t mean a “plant a smile on your face and get the job done as quickly as possible” kind of smile. We mean a “Hi! We appreciate you very much and are really glad to be working with you” kind of smile.
In turn, our customers don’t hesitate to share the Reese experience with friends and family. In addition, we’re proud to report that they come back to us to meet their future needs.

FAQ’s
Do you provide a guarantee?
Yes. We offer our customer a Lifetime Guarantee that includes both your new windows and our professional installation.
Can I grab a few friends and install my own windows?
That’s probably not the best plan of action. Window replacement is dangerous work. In fact, between 1990 and 2005, 2.1 million people went to the hospital due to an injury that involved a ladder. Ninety-seven percent of the injuries occurred outside of the workplace. We specifically train our employees to follow our installation procedure from beginning to end. That’s all they do. Safety on the job becomes second nature to them. Rather than risking an accident, it’s best to let our team handle the job. Besides, we the guarantee includes installation. You don’t want to void that!
Will someone need to be at home?
Yes. We ask that an adult family member be home during the installation process. We will need access to the inside of your home so we feel it’s best for you to be there as well. In fact, it’s company policy.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
It will be great to have all furniture, wall decorations, alarm sensors, and window treatments removed from each work area prior to our arrival. That way our crew can get right to work! Thanks for asking.
Are replacement windows super expensive?
There are different factors to consider before answering that question. The window style you choose affects the final cost, of course. So does the number of replacement windows we’ll be installing. Schedule a consultation. It’s free and you’re sure to discover the perfect window that meets your budget.
Will Reece stand behind that Lifetime Guarantee if ever I need it?
Absolutely. You don’t get to be one of the leading window manufacturers in the area by saying one thing and doing another. You can rest assured that we stand behind our windows and our work. In the event that a window needs replaced due to a malfunction or a problem that resulted from installation, we’ve got it covered.
