Sure, it takes a minute to get to the coast but it’s always worth every second of the drive, isn’t it? Other than that, living in Wesley Chapel is about as close to perfect as it gets. As a matter of fact, 73% of us own our homes which speaks to the fact that once you get here, you’re ready to stick around awhile. Maintaining your home’s structural integrity is important, especially living in Florida. Did you know that window replacement actually strengthens it?
We see our share of wind and rain around here and when the winds come with hurricane-force—Watch out! When a home loses its windows, it allows the storm full access to your home. Not only are glass and wind-bourne debris—and, hopefully, no family members—flying through the air, the wind immediately seeks an escape.
Pressure builds as the storm continues to force its way into your home. Meanwhile, the wind is pushing against your roof with all its might. Combined with the force of the storm tearing at your roof from the outside, you’re in danger of losing the roof entirely.
That’s not good.
Replacing your windows with our impact windows can save the day.
But, wait, there’s more…
If the wind can’t get in, your home stands a far greater chance of withstanding a hurricane. Many homeowners install impact windows for added protection. There’s no doubt that your family—and your stuff—will be safer throughout hurricane season.
Not budging
Window replacement that involves our windows now only afford you added storm protection, they stand guard against break-ins 24/7. Ordinary windows allow an intruder easy access to a home. In fact, they may even bank on a slow police response and break-in even if they see an alarm sensor on the inside glass!
They’ll be forced to rethink the situation after coming into contact with our windows! They aren’t budging. Odds are they’ll be sent packing before making a second attempt to smash the glass.
Lower your energy costs
Reece replacement windows are extremely energy efficient. Our windows meet or exceed EnergyStar requirements. Both the make-up of the window itself as well as our beautiful vinyl frames contribute to their energy efficiency.
They block the transfer of air from the inside and out, thereby, increasing your comfort level while decreasing your energy costs. Technically, then, these windows eventually pay for themselves!
UV protection
You’re going to be able to let the sunshine into your home all day long after your window replacement is complete.
Reece Windows & Doors offer the added benefit of blocking the damaging ultra-violet rays of the sun. You’ll never have to worry about sun fade again!
Noise limit
We don’t know about you, but we think sometimes everyone just wants to kick back and relax without the distraction of the kids playing in the pool or the buzz of a skill saw piercing the air.
It always seems to happen that one day you could really use some peace and quiet, doesn’t it?
Reece Windows & Doors noticeably muffle or even eliminate outside noise. You might not realize how noisy the neighborhood was until it isn’t!
Your bottom dollar
Our windows may save you money other than the fact that they’re so affordable!
Many insurance companies offer discounted premiums when you add storm protection. Contact your agent to see if your’s does. You can find out the requirements before we meet to make sure we get you pointed in the right direction from the start.
How do you do it?
Reece only makes impact windows.
We understand the value they bring in added storm protection—and, let’s face it, in today’s world the break-in resistant factor brings us peace of mind as well.
We have families too.
Our windows are built to hold together no matter what. We use tempered glass panels and sandwich a sheet of high-tech polymer between them. The polymer is multi-faceted. It takes the brunt of the impact, no matter how extreme, holding your window glass in place even if it spiderwebs. It also makes our windows more energy-efficient and noise resistant.
We encase your windows in vinyl frames. We use a technique called heat welding. It actually fuses the vinyl sides of the frame together making them one solid piece. The result is a window frame that’s not coming apart—no matter what!
To qualify as a hurricane window, our impact windows undergo testing as required by the FBC (Florida Buiding Code). They involve 2×4’s and steel ball bearings impacting our windows with hurricane force.
Our windows consistently pass the test.
